Nordea bank connectivity for software
ISECure connects your software product to Nordea's corporate Web Services channel as a single API. You don't build a bank-specific integration or manage certificates and keys — we handle it for you.
What Nordea's Web Services connection covers
Nordea uses the Web Services (WS) channel for corporate file traffic, through which software retrieves statements and sends payment files securely. The connection is based on PKI certificates and signed messaging.
Through ISECure you get machine-readable statements (camt.053), incoming reference payment data, and SEPA payment initiation (pain.001) without your software implementing Nordea's WS interface directly.
- Machine-readable statements in camt.053 format
- SEPA payments with pain.001, payment feedback with pain.002
- Incoming reference payments and file retrieval
- Certificate enrollment, renewal, and storage handled by ISECure
Why ISECure for the Nordea connection
Setting up Nordea's WS connection requires a certificate application, key management, and message signing. ISECure handles the whole thing and offers one REST API plus TypeScript, Python, and PHP SDKs.
Private keys are stored with AWS KMS encryption in a PCI DSS level environment, separate from your software team. The same connection covers the other Finnish banks too, so one integration gives you every bank.
How to get started
You need a Web Services agreement with Nordea and its related services. ISECure guides certificate enrollment and provides a test API for development. Moving to production uses the same interface.
